Annual Greek Festival supports local non-profits
Updated: Jul 25
The first Greek Festival at Holy Trinity Orthodox Church was a tremendous success. The annual event celebrates all things Greek - food, dancing, music and heritage.
During the event, numerous donations of canned goods and non-perishable foods to help stock the Homeless Coalition of St. Johns County pantry were contributed. The
Homeless Coalition is a local non-profit agency that provides transitional and permanent affordable housing to families who have encountered difficult times and are in crisis. Additionally, more than $900 was donated to the Coalition. The Holy Trinity Church also continued its support of the St. Francis Housing Crisis Center (St. Francis House) by providing food donations.
As we continue to showcase our culture and our hospitality, we are paving the way to offer a greater witness of our identity and our Church.
